I am currently a PhD Student in the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, focusing on sign language lexicography. Previously I was the Database Manager for the Online Dictionary of New Zealand Sign Language, but despite that grand title I haven't got very much technical know-how. I have learned a lot from being a go-between, passing information between the lexicographical team, dictionary users, IT support, and database and web developers.

I continue to be involved with the Online Dictionary and am always keen to explore new possibilities that digital technology provides for representing sign language, as well as having an interest in sign language corpus development.
