Melissa Bryant
Kia ora. I work for libraries and museums, and I'm studying towards my Masters of Information Studies, so I can always stand to learn more about the potential of things digital. But right now I am working through a Summer Research Scholarship across Victoria University and Te Papa, investigating community engagement with New Zealand book history through digital technology. We aim to pilot the crowdsourcing of the transcription of the early twentieth century diaries of the New Zealand farmer/photographer/self-taught scientist George Leslie Adkin.
